The Rhône Valley has always been a privileged passage between the Mediterranean world and northern or Atlantic Europe. The Greeks entered the heart of Gaul from ancient times to trade. The cultivation of the vineyard continued with the arrival of the Romans in 178 BC. Several studies make it possible to place the wine-growing origin of the Côtes du Rhône as prior to other French regions. Located on both sides of the Rhône River (between Vienne, Valence and Avignon), the Côtes du Rhône appellation draws its personality from the incredible diversity of soils, climates and strains within its territory. Garnacha is the base strain and brings the fruity, warm and round aspect. Syrah and Mourvèdre give the wines aromas of spices, a color, a sustained structure and suitable for aging.
Deep red with mauve reflections. The nose is very aromatic with notes of ripe red and black fruits and complex floral notes and spices. In the mouth it is fruity, rich with melted and present tannins that gives them a good persistence.
